COPPER AGE (1985-2000)

The beginning of the COPPER AGE (1985-2000) of comic books, like the Bronze Age that preceded it, is largely debated by enthusiasts.  For the purposes of organization, this site uses the conclusion of the Marvel Super-Heroes Secret Wars #12 in May, 1985 and the beginning of Crisis on Infinite Earths #1 in May, 1985 as a beginning point.

Some enthusiasts do not utilize the Copper Age and skip right to the MODERN AGE, therefore their dates overlap.  This site includes breakdowns for both.

Also debated is the end of the Copper Age.  This site uses the debut of Marvel's Ultimate Universe in 2000 as an ending point.
